(Photograph) - The impact of war on children around the world is analysed in a Unicef report launched last week by Jemima Khan. The report, Children Under Siege, calls on the British Government to take action to increase humanitarian aid, restrict arms exports, end the recruitment of child soldiers and extend rights to refugee children. It also urges Britain to end the deployment of under-18s in the UK's armed forces. The report says unprecedented numbers of children around the world are growing up alone after losing their families in armed conflicts.
