Involved dads take their hats off to nursery staff

Four brave fathers from Essex will never view strawberry jelly in quite the same way again after spending a day at their children's nursery in aid of the BBC Children in Need appeal. The nursery in Brentford, part of the Bringing Up Baby group, raised £900 in aid of the campaign with the help of the fathers' sponsored visit. Manager Lisa Foley said, 'It was this mad idea - I think the mums were egging the dads on!' Mike Pears and Paul Anthony spent the day in the under-twos room.
