I don't think that classroom assistants should get paid over any holiday periods. If they are not qualified nursery nurses, they don't deserve the same rights as nursery nurses if they are being used as a cheap alternative to NNEBs. In my opinion, unless you've spent two years of hard graft at college, be happy with what you have.
