Nursery nurses may qualify for starter homes

A small number of nursery nurses and classroom assistants in England may get a look-in on a Government scheme to help key workers buy their first homes in property hotspots outside London. The Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions (DTLR) announced last week that £20m of the £250m Starter Homes Initiative will provide 2,000 key workers with £10,000 equity loans to help them buy property outside the capital.
