All schools in Northern Ireland are to receive at least £150 towards the cost of heating their premises this winter, education minister Martin McGuinness has announced. He said that an additional Pounds 1.2m would be made available to schools to help them cope with fuel costs during the winter months. 'The amount given to each school will be related to the size of the premises, with each school receiving a minimum of £150,' he said.
