The bus is an integral part of the WORDS project funded by Dundee City Council and the Scottish Arts Council to promote reading by people of all ages. The nursery school's headteacher Dorothy McHattie said the children were very attentive and she felt the bus visit was particularly useful for the youngest children, who did not always respond well to stories.
