Nursery nurses win uniform pay

Nursery nurses working in Nottingham's city schools are to receive the same pay deal as those working for Nottinghamshire County Council. Public service union Unison negotiated better pay and status for nursery nurses in Nottinghamshire last year after 18 months of negotiations (Nursery World, 28 June 2001). There are three grades for nursery nurses based on a 32.5-hour week and 52-week year.
