I left college a year ago with a BTec Diploma in Childhood Studies and I wanted to gain more experience during a year out before I study for a BA (Hons) in Child Care. My nursery boss has waited two months to clear other members of staff, so she asked Ofsted where the forms were, only to be told there is a backlog. I have been in this job a month and have sent my police check off, but apparently it could be four months before I am cleared -by which time I will have left to begin my course....
