Prisoners bend bars for children

Children at Perth College Nursery can rest in style on a new wrought-iron bench in their outdoor play area, thanks to the inmates of a nearby prison. A group of prisoners from Castle Huntly Prison designed and built the big, brightly-coloured seat for the nursery grounds under a scheme to encourage inmates to develop their skills and sense of self-worth while helping members of the local community.
