Route to teaching

I read with interest the feature on school-based teacher training ('Class act, 27 November). I wonder if you have covered the Registered Teacher Programme in this series? I am currently undertaking this programme at Bradford College while still employed by Education Leeds. My previous post was that of SEN nursery nurse in a local primary school where I am still based. The RTP is often a more accessible course to nursery nurses and classroom assistants who are already employed by a local authority.
