Is it any wonder that the Government is saying that children's reading, writing and spelling is not up to scratch and more needs to be done to encourage these basic skills? I am getting fed up with seeing print containing errors. For example, I was driving along through roadworks the other day and the sign read, 'Duel carriageway ahead'. I wondered what I was going to be entering into!
