More children may soon bemaking their way to school in a Walking Bus as part of new Government measures that aim to develop safer, healthier and more environmentally friendly ways to travel to school. The Walking Bus scheme, where pupils are escorted by volunteers from an agreed location is in the draft School Transport Bill now out for consultation.
