(Photograph) - Babies began their crawl through the world of books at Broughty Ferry library in Dundee last month when the city council launched its latest early reading campaign. Under the Bookstart Book Crawl scheme, under-fives have a special Book Crawl card stamped each time they borrow a book from the library, and win a Book Crawl certificate when they have collected six stamps. The certificates are designed by well-known illustrators including Catherine and Laurence Anholt, Rod Campbell, Penny Dale and Lara Jones. and Hilda Offer.
