Every country has its own range of musical instruments. They range from the didgeridoo, which originated in Australia, to the shekere from Ghana (which is best described as a rattle), to the zampona or bamboo panpipes originating in Peru to the mbira or finger piano from Zimbabwe. All have slowly evolved from their creation by native people using locally found materials.
