A pretty dismal and confusing picture for the future of private daycare has been painted in Nursery World. An article in the 23 September issue quoted Peter Moss, professor of early childhood provision at the Thomas Coram Research Unit, saying that by 2015, 'private nurseries would have become uncommon' in the UKdue to the full establishment of children's centres, and few schools would offer nursery classes.
