Children from Abacus Nursery in Basingstoke marked the nursery's first birthday with a puppet show by 'the Giddy Wizard'. The celebrations for more than 500 children, staff, parents and local people included an afternoon of children's entertainment and an evening barn dance complete with fiddlers and hog roast. Abacus managing director Emma Wood said the day was a 'tremendous family-inclusive event'.
