Flying Start gives details of £46m funding

A flagship Welsh childcare initiative that focuses on disadvantaged under-threes plans to invest more than £2,000 per child per year, the Welsh Assembly revealed in a consultation document last week. Flying Start is a £46m scheme aimed at children living in disadvantaged areas in Wales, with free part-time, high-quality childcare for two-year-olds as a centrepiece.
