A seasonal crop of 'political correctness gone mad' stories appeared in the press before Christmas, including one in the Daily Express reporting that Timber Green nursery school in Angus, Scotland, had banned parents from taking pictures of their offspring at its pantomime after one parent refused to give permission for a child to be photographed or videoed. A child who jumped out of a first-floor window believing that he could fly like Batman escaped with a bruised bottom, The Daily Telegraph said.
