Britain's first purpose-built children's theatre opened in London in December. The Unicorn Theatre, which has been forced to relocate several times in its 60-year history, has moved to a new permanent home on London's South Bank. The £30m building was designed in consultation with local children and has two auditoriums and an education room. It will provide education opportunities to over 100,000 children each year.
