In reply to Shirley Brooks (Letters, 25 January), I agree with every point she makes about Early Years Professional recruit- ment. It is just a pity that the Government isn't listening to what is been said across the breadth of the country. Our profession has low pay and poor recognition, combined with a never-ending amount of extra training and paperwork. That's not to mention the legislation and legal requirements we have to adhere to.
