Northern light

I trained at the Norland College in the 1980s, when it was still providing a busy residential nursery service. There was a need for overnight care then, and there is even more so now. Here in Norway where I live now, there is a 24-hour daycare centre near Oslo airport. It provides all kinds of hours to suit shiftworkers - occasional regular absences, such as long-haul flight staff, and babysitting occasions that are one-offs. The children can do any mixture of care, providing the numbers are kept within specific totals.
