Wendy McInally accepts donation from the Birrell Collection nursery group

(Photograph) - Wendy McInally, a paediatric nurse for Macmillan Cancer Relief, was in a party mood as she accepted a £5,000 donation raised by staff and children from the Birrell Collection nursery group at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. Children from the Birrell's Queen Margaret College nursery raised almost £800 of the total by taking part in a sponsored mile-long toddle, while children from the West End nursery raked in more than £250 by tackling an equally tough task - keeping quiet for the 'Hold Your Tongue' challenge.
