The Government is pushing for us to implement the programme of change in early years policy and practice set in motion in its previous administration. A worthy aim, to be sure, but can we count on its continued support? This is a key question now being asked by providers, parents, partnerships, regulators, and others supporting the early years sector such as local authorities and voluntary agencies.
