The Scottish Out of School Care Network is marking its tenth anniversary this year with a prize competition for children to design birthday cards showing what they enjoy most about their club, whether it's arts and crafts, their favourite snack or outdoor play. Clubs must be a member of the Network to enter and all batches of entries must be received by Friday 17 August. As many of the birthday cards as possible will be displayed at SOSCN's annual conference on 10 September at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel. For details phone 0141 331 1301 or see the website www.soscn.org.
