Top Notch Nannies has produced what it calls a free fact sheet for nanny employers, entitled 'The Joy of Nannies'. The eight points listed include, 'When you hire a nanny you must be confident in your own mind that she is a good, safe one. You do this by interviewing her, checking her references yourself by telephone and by observing her with your children.' Another is 'Always respect the nanny's working hours.
