Grants totalling more

Grants totalling more than £1.78m have been awarded to 26 community projects in Northern Ireland to help improve health and well-being, as part of the province's 'Investing for Health' initiative. Among the recipients is Playboard's 'Out to Play' initiative, a regional project to increase opportunities for physical play outdoors for children aged seven to 12, and the Ligoniel Family Centre's 'Health and Well-being Initiative for Families', a local resource for health promotion, education and awareness raising in the Ligoniel district of Belfast.
