Day nurseries will meet to consider how to develop quality care in the current economic climate at a conference next month organised by the National Day Nurseries Association. Topics at 'Meeting the Challenge' on 16 and 17 May in Warwick include working with Ofsted and funding growth, and speakers include Maggie Smith, head of the Early Years Directorate and Stephen Timms, minister of state for schools and standards.
