* Haringey Play Association has opened a new adventure playground in Northumberland Park, north London. Somerfield Grove Adventure Playground is situated in a deprived, ethnically diverse area and has been developed in consultation with local children. It offers swings, climbing platforms, a pond and stream. Somerfield Grove will host a regular playgroup for under-fives, an after-school club and a holiday play scheme.
