The Princess Christian nursery group received a certificate from the British Red Cross last week for raising £2,650 for the American and Afghanistan disaster funds set up since 11 September. Up to 2,000 children in the group's 20 day nurseries around England baked cakes and biscuits to raise the money. Princess Christian operations director Jacqueline Moss said, 'This event has not only been fun for the children and also taught them about baking, but we have told the children why we need to raise the money and where it is going.'
