Pay women fairly, says GMB

Members of the GMB trade union took to the streets of five towns and cities in England and Scotland last week to draw attention to the fact that women workers in the UK earn 19 per cent less than their male counterparts. They asked the public in Stockton, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow to sign a petition calling for the Government to ensure employers implemented fair pay systems.
