Integrated service delivery

Proposals to establish an overarching early years strategy to underpin more integrated service delivery and build closer links between health, education and social work were outlined in a letter sent out to local authorities and childcare partnerships by the Scottish Executive last month. The letter says, 'Examples of integrated care and learning services could include family resource centres providing childcare, pre-school education, wraparound care, out-of-school care and Sure Start services to families and children.
