KCN wants more clubs for teens

The Kids' Clubs Network has launched a £1.2m campaign to set up 3,000 after-school and holiday clubs for children and teenagers across the UK. The Network is aiming to open 3,000 Make Space clubs by 2015 to bridge a gap in provision for 11-to 16-year-olds. The clubs will give them somewhere safe to go after school, and offer a range of activities, including sport, music and the arts.
