New foods scrapped

New foods have been scrapped from the menu of the ChildBase nursery in Milton Keynes only a month after they were added following complaints from parents that children were refusing to eat some of the items. Ingredients such as couscous, celery and rice were introduced alongside old favourites including fish fingers, pizza and shepherd's pie. Parents were notified in advance of the new menu, which was developed by a state-registered nutritionist and dietician as part of the nursery chain's commitment to provide healthy, balanced meals.
