(Photograph) - Sure Start minister Catherine Ashton joined a teddy bears' picnic at London Zoo on 2 June to launch National Sure Start month. The picnic was hosted by the Kids' Clubs Network, organisers of this year's event to promote childcare, early education and family support services. The Daycare Trust, National Childminding Association, National Day Nurseries Association and Pre-School Learning Alliance are each holding a week of dedicated activities.
