National childminding network officer at the National Childminding Association, Chris Evans, died suddenly on Christmas Eve. In her 12 years working for the charity, the NCMAsaid, she made a 'remarkable contribution' to the development of Children Come First networks. Gill Haynes, chief executive, said, 'Her enthusiasm was infectious and she will be missed by all who worked with her.'
