The Nursery World Awards 2005 truly celebrated excellence across the early years education and childcare sector, as you can see in our eight-page special pull-out in the centre of this week's magazine. Winners ranged from students starting their careers to experienced practitioners and top-quality settings, equipment suppliers and company websites. We were especially thrilled with the results of our first-ever Nursery of the Year Award, sponsored by Morton Michel, with prizes from Community Playthings.
