Morris outlines expectations for framework

The new qualifications framework must recognise diversity of provision within the sector and provide the opportunity for everyone to access appropriate training, says former education secretary Estelle Morris. Speaking at CACHE's annual general meeting last week in her capacity as chair of the Children's Workforce Development Council, Ms Morris said, 'The single qualifications framework will provide a common language, so whatever someone's field they will understand what a qualification means and what skills and knowledge it brings to the job.'
