Bookstart has launched an expansion programme

Bookstart has launched an expansion programme to give every child in England a free set of books by the age of four (see News, 28 July). Bookstart+ for toddlers and My Bookstart Treasure Chest for three-year-olds are now available through libraries and early years settings across the country. Parents and carers should ask their health visitor or their library for details of when they can receive the packs. The launch was timed to coincide with National Bookstart Day on 7 October.
