Funding fatigue

In response to 'Anger over council terms' (News, 22 June), I should like to add my thoughts, which include 'frustration' and 'fatigue'. Hertfordshire, our local authority, currently passes on £8 per 2.5 hour funded session. I agree with the Kent providers that the level of nursery education grant is inadequate and, effectively, we as a private nursery are making up the shortfall of government funding.
