The Metro reported how an anonymous reader of its paper rescued the missing Bolivian squirrel monkey Sponge-Bob, after spotting him playing with children in Clapham, South London. How the endangered monkey managed to travel 19km from his home at Chessington World of Adventures zoo remains a mystery. The police are treating his four-day disappearance as suspicious.
