17 May 2007, 12:00am

The Parents, Early Years and Learning Project (PEAL) has been granted £3m by the DfES to complete rolling out the scheme to children's centres across the country. Over 700 centres have already participated in a pilot, where practitioners receive a training pack and a one-day session on creating good relationships with parents of under-threes. PEAL will also distribute this grant to its cross-sector partners, Parenting UK, NCMA, NDNA and PLA. Visit www.peal.org.uk for details.
