DfES-funded Hindu faith school has green plans

The UK's first Hindu faith, voluntary-aided primary and nursery school could soon appear in Harrow, north London. The I-Foundation, a charity dedicated to furthering Hindu culture and philosophy, is waiting for planning permission from Harrow Borough Council to open the Krishna-Avanti Primary School and nursery. Reception and nursery classes are set to be the first part of the school to start in September 2008.
