Nearly 5,000 nursery nurses across Scotland have voted to take industrial action for a review of their pay. The ballot of nursery nurse members of public services union Unison was carried out between 25 April and 9 May, and involved sending out 4,500 papers. There was a 64 per cent return, with 90 per cent voting in support of strike action or other action short of striking.
