Value plea saves nurseries

Two nursery schools in west London have been saved in what has been hailed as 'a landmark case' of value for money over cost per child. Maxilla and Ainsworth nursery schools, in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, were to have been closed at the end of the year to save costs, and their children transferred to nursery classes in three local schools and another local nursery school.
