More than 250 nursery places areto be created by Camden counci

More than 250 nursery places areto be created by Camden council in London with the help of a £2m grant from the Government to create 11 children's centres, offering services such as health advice and training courses for parents run by local Sure Start programmes. Nick Smith, Camden's executive member for education, said the council was 'committed to supporting families, fighting child poverty and improving economic prospects in our most deprived communities (and) providing childcare, education and support services is vital to achieve these aims'.
