'Detox toy box'
Nursery World,
20 November 2003
Parents and carers are being encouraged to 'detox their toy box' before Christmas and donate good-quality toys and games to children's charity Barnardo's. The annual Foresters Toy and Christmas appeal seeks donations to sell in Barnardo's stores. Launching the appeal, actress Linda Robson said, 'Most people have something in their cupboards that Barnardo's can make use of, so it's a great way to have a good clean out before Christmas and help a really worthwhile cause.' For every bag of goods displaying a special sticker, Foresters, a financial services and charitable organisation, will donate another £5 to the appeal.
