The 'very best thing to be in the whole world' is a celebrity, according to a poll of 2,500 children aged under ten reported in the Independent. Good looks and being rich were rated second and third. Being God came tenth, although he gained the top spot in the children's list of most famous people, above George Bush and Madonna. Another poll by theology think-tank Theos asked children what rule they would make if they were king or queen of the world. Most said they would ban guns and knives. Parents have accused Cliff School in Wakefield of 'cashing in'...
