Childminders and nannies can find advice on what to do in suspected cases of child abuse

Nursery World, 4 January 2007

Childminders and nannies can find advice on what to do in suspected cases of child abuse in a free booklet from the National Childminding Association and the NSPCC. Safeguarding Children - a Guide for Childminders and Nannies details the signs of abuse, step-by-step instructions on what action to take when concerned about a child, and information about Local Safeguarding Children Boards. NCMA has sent out copies of the guide to its 50,000 members and any non-members can order or download it at www.ncma.org.uk.
