Allegations that children were force-fed, humiliated and inappropriately restrained by staff upheld

Allegations that children were force-fed, humiliated and inappropriately restrained by staff at an Aberdeenshire nursery have been upheld by Scotland's Care Commission. The complaints are understood to have been made by students on placement at Wee Rascals Nursery in Kintore, where three staff members were suspended last month. Following an investigation, the Commission has served an improvement notice on the nursery. Care Commission director of children's services, Ronnie Hill, said, 'This is a formal enforcement requiring it to take measures to immediately resolve issues raised in the investigation, and to provide an action plan to address any outstanding matters.'
