A woman accidentally passed her one-month-old grandson through an x-ray machine at Los Angeles International Airport during the Christmas rush, reported The Guardian. A security guard spotted the baby going into the machine, lying in one of the plastic trays used for hand luggage and coats, and speeded up the conveyor belt to hurry him through. The child was taken to hospital to be checked for radiation exposure and was declared to be fine, while the unidentified grandmother was described as an inexperienced traveller.
